Driftwood Farmhouse

Mar 21 – Oct 30, 2025
There is nothing quite like the feeling of clicking instantly with a client. From our very first meeting with the homeowners of the Driftwood Farmhouse, we knew this project was going to be something special. Even better? The lot they owned was just around the corner from another custom home we completed a few years ago, making the neighborhood feel a bit like home to us, too.
Designed to Perform, Built to Last

The vision was clear from the start: a spacious 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom, single-level home that perfectly blended a classic farmhouse exterior with a relaxed, coastal-vibe interior.
Exterior and the Framing

Because the clients already owned their beautiful lot, we were able to take the initial floor plans they purchased and expertly tweak them to perfectly fit their specific needs and day-to-day lifestyle.

Once the plans were finalized, we hit the ground running. The entire build moved seamlessly—the framing went up in record time, and before we knew it, it was time for drywall. There is always a distinct magic in the drywall phase; it’s the moment the house officially starts feeling like a home, and our clients loved watching their walls and spaces take shape.
Material Moments and Details

Coming Together

The drywall phase is where we start to order the materials, such as the flooring and the tile to make sure that everything is done in an orderly and timely manner.

It is nice at this part in the project where we can come in at the end of the day and see it all come together. It is peaceful and really just a neat experience to see the vision come to life.
And the Wait is Over!

It was decided from the beginning to build out a fireplace wall with storage and shelving. We used some leftover bathroom tile to surround the gas fireplace. The clients really wanted carpet in the living room so we decided to create a pathway from the front door to the rest of the house to keep the area cleaner and less worn. And the door was the Pièce de résistance because it complimented the calm but elegance of the space we were going for.

Final Dining Room

In the kitchen we were trying to carry the coastal feeling throughout. Our clients really liked the color blue, so we brought in a serene blue into the kitchen. The shade of blue was perfect because it added a sense of tranquility to the space.
